California State Standards Addressed This Period

The textbook ECCE ROMANI is correlated to national standards and includes frequent assessments.
Hints for reading Latin aloud:

Consonants: C always sounds like a K as in “cat” or “cup.”
G always sounds like the G in “get” or “girl.”
V always sounds like a W as in “win” or “want.”

Other consonant sounds and the vowels A-E-I-O-U are explained on page 149 of your textbook. If you know how to pronounce vowels in Spanish, you won’t have a problem with Latin!
